Dedicated
to increasing your company's productivity while improving reliability
and accuracy of printing, Innovative Machines, Inc. introduces its
revolutionary, new product -- the Rotary Indexing Printer, or R.I.P.
Although the screen printing process itself is very fast; loading, registering,
and unloading take up most of the time required to screen print. When multiple
colors are needed, this "wasted" handling time takes place with
each color adding up to an inefficient printing process. In addition, during
the process of re-registering much of the color-to-color registration accuracy
is frequently lost, resulting in mediocre quality and high scrap rates.
The R.I.P. multi-color
printers' specialized design eliminates these problems.
The product is registered only once. The money saved becomes
your added profit. Take a look at the R.I.P. It is definitely not a converted
t-shirt printer; but rather, a precision, multi-color screen printer with
its roots in the demanding machine tool industry. For instance, the table
is moved by the same cam type indexer that has proven itself capable of
hundreds of millions of reliable cycles in the automobile manufacturing
industry.
The operation of the R.I.P. is simple and fast. the operator loads the
part onto a specially-designed fixture on a circular table and pushes a
palm button. The machine transfers all of the parts through an ultraviolet
curing unit and into position under a print head where they are printed
simultaneously. the operator removes the finished parts as they are returned
to the load/unload
Features
- The
print heads utilize precision linear ball bearings on polished,
hardened, and ground shafts rated over 300million cycles.
- Individual X,Y, and angular
registration controls with three dial indicators recording in
increments of .001 inch.
- Automatic screen locating
clamps for instant set-ups.
- Squeegee pressure is adjustable
during printing operation, and is indicated by a pressure gauge
on the control panel.
- The flood bar downward stroke
is adjustable and operates alternately with the squeegee stroke.
- Print and flood speeds are
independently adjustable during operation via precision speed
controls on the operator panel.
- The screen carriage raises
and lowers six inches pneumatically for set-up and screen cleaning.
- Vertical loft provides superior
ink control.
- Adjustable squeegee skew
angle.
- All parts are precision machined
from solid aluminum bar stock and anodized for protection.
- Quick change squeegee and
anodized for protection.
- Quick change squeegee and
flood bar.
- Printing stroke adjustments
do not require sensor adjustments.
UV Curing Unit
- The ultraviolet curing units
are constructed of anodized aluminum and stainless steel.
- Curing power is selectable
from 125,200, and 300 watts/inch.
- Refrigerated air cooling
of both substrate and U.V. irradiator.
- Panel-mounted ammeter for
circuit strength indication.
- The stainless steel irradiator
hinges open for quick lamp inspection and replacement.
- Replaceable and renewable
reflectors.
- Irradiator overheat indicator
light.
